1. Do I need to have a prescription to buy anything from LanternMeds?
No. A prescription is mandatory only to buy medications from this website. Besides medicine, as there are OTC drugs and other products also listed on the website, one does not need to have a prescription to buy these.
2. Why LanternMeds is not accepting my prescription?
It is probably because the prescription shared with us is not valid or does not match the criteria as given below. A valid prescription must have the following details:

- Doctor’s details
- Patient’s details
- Medicine details
- Dosage details
- Doctor's signature
3. Do you have the facility of 24*7 delivery and/or emergency delivery?
The service of emergency delivery is available in certain locations. Generally, it may take 1-7 business days for the order to be delivered.
4. What are the delivery charges?
The delivery charges may vary as per the total amount to be paid for an order. The exact amount of delivery fee for a particular order can be seen after adding the medicine/products in the cart and in the final copy of the bill.
5. How genuine/authentic/safe are the medicine and products available at LanternMeds?
The medicines and all other products are procured directly from the certified manufacturers. The procured products are stored in the ideal environment and expiry dates are checked before dispensing any order. So, one can rest assured of the authenticity of the medicines and products available at LanternMeds.
6. How can I change my contact information?
Go to the 'account' and choose the option 'edit profile'. Enter the required inputs in the relative fields and 'save information'. For any queries related to contact information update, please get in touch with us on 8686878801 or write to us at info@lanternmeds.com.
7. Which payment modes are available?
To order from our website, one can choose to pay via cash on delivery (COD), Card payment (Credit/Debit), LanternMeds wallet. Please note - in some locations, COD may not be available. Also, in some cases, COD charges may be applied.
8. I can’t find the prescribed medicine on LanternMeds. Can you suggest a substitute?
It is possible that medicine of a particular brand that one is looking for is not available on our website. However, one can check if the salts (ingredient list) and their strength mentioned in medicine from another brand are the same as the prescribed medicine - it can be substituted. One can also confirm the same from his/her doctor to be doubly sure. It is a common practice to substitute medicine brands.
9. Can I cancel my order?
Once the payment is processed, the order can not be cancelled.
10. I mistakenly added the wrong delivery address. Can I change it?
One can request to change the delivery address before the order has been shipped. So that the order is delivered to the right address. However, if the order has been shipped, one will need to cancel the previous order or place a new order for the right delivery location. 11. Can I order a different dosage of medicine mentioned in the prescription?
No. We can only sell medicine as per a certified doctor’s prescription. So, we can process the order only as per the dosage mentioned by the doctor.
12. The medicine I received is expired. How can I return it?
Expiry dates are checked before processing each and every order. But, if there was a mistake and expired medicine/products were delivered one can contact us at 8686878801 or info@lanternmeds.com. We’ll exchange the medicine/product after verification of the medicine/product that was delivered earlier.
13. How can I return an order and get refund?
One can raise a request for return of an order by calling us on 8686878801 or writing to us at info@lanternmeds.com. We’ll collect the package from the given address, verify the products and process the refund after verification.
14. My order was not delivered but the app status shows ‘delivered’. What to do?
Please connect with us at 8686878801 or info@lanternmeds.com within 24 hours in such a case. We’ll investigate the matter and do the needful.
15. I received the wrong medicine/products OR some items are missing from my order. What can I do now?
We have multiple check points in place before the order is dispatched. There is a very rare chance of delivering wrong products or missing items. If it has happened, please connect with us at 8686878801 or info@lanternmeds.com within 24 hours. We’ll investigate the matter and do the needful.
